In August 2015, ULVN took a little time out from Berlin and his job as a landscape architect. He traveled to the foot of the Alps and looked after the house of acquaintances there for two weeks. In his luggage were his guitar and his laptop to pass the time. Actually, he had no intention of working on an album. But in between walks in the woods, harvesting vegetables in the home garden and trips to the lake, he also ended up writing new songs.
What emerged was an album that is primarily about letting go and the possibilities and surprises that come with it. Producer Ben Kinder, who is also responsible for the keyboards and backing vocals, put the finishing touches on the tracks. Alex Binder on bass and Hanno Stick on drums completed the band on the recordings.
